Nairobi National Game Park is a unique ecosystem by being the only protected area in the world close to a capital city. Located just 7kms from Nairobi’s city centre, Nairobi National Park is the perfect place for a half-day or full day excursion or Tour from the Kenyan capital.
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel with a 4X4 Jeep and proceed to the Nairobi National Park on an average 5 hour day tour. You shall follow the wildlife tracks of the Nairobi National Park in search of Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Giraffe, Ostrich, Hippo, White and Black Rhino, Buffalo and other game.
Nairobi National Park is a unique wildlife reserve. It is within sight of the city’s skyline as you enjoy seeing some of the Big Five among other wildlife. Though within the vicinity of the city, this is a natural wild habitat and same caution of safety is observed like in all other major animal reserves such as Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo etc.
Just 10km south of the Kenya capital city of Nairobi, the park is Kenya’s oldest (1946) and one of its smallest, but sightings of lions and hyenas are regular. You’ll have opportunities to see endangered rhinos, hippos, ostrich and 400 species of birds.
We shall also visit other attractions including the Ivory burning site monument and guided walking at the hippo pool trails.
